From Lord Byron to Marilyn Monroe, from "Casablanca" to Coca Cola, England and America have provided the world with perfect specimens of cult figures and cult objects. This course tries to capture the magic and the effect of selected individuals and artefacts from various cultural spheres. The course will leave room for creative written and oral contributions by its participants.
