Portraits of Young People in the Movies
In this course we will watch and discuss quality movies from the English speaking world that deal with the lives and problems of young people. Literary and non-fictional texts that are connected with the topics will be read in addition. The seond half of the semester will be devoted to the study of W. Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet and its different cinematic adaptations.

Apart from providing some insight into film studies, the course aims at giving you opportunities of practising your English and improving the four skills
